Some new images from the original EW cover — we’ve been told by EW that in the next few weeks EW.com will have plenty of videos and galleries in anticipation for the film. Hopefully Jazz and Alice are included, so stay tuned for more! :)
I just saw this on the LJ and had to post it here immediately! It’s a very low quality, but excellent clip of Bella meeting the Cullens. Listen for the audience reaction when Alice comes on screen!
That’s right — Hot Topic now has individual character t-shirts, including this gorgeous one of Jasper. I assume they also have an Alice one, but I don’t see it on their site.
Also, this week’s TT is another round of fans’ questions. Here’s a snippet:
Q: “If ‘Twilight’ is a hit, what would be the coolest thing about being in a blockbuster?” – Puppy Love
Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen): I want an action figure. An action figure would be really, really cool.
MTV: Are there any plans? Have you heard anything?
Greene: There’s been talk. Hopefully, [the film will] do well enough that all that stuff can come out, and they’ll have posters and action figures and everything. [To Jackson] Would you want an action figure?
Jazz and Alice are featured in the new Borders Behind-the-Scenes feature. The video is being converted and uploaded to our youtube — so watch this space for the links — but enjoy the caps in the gallery in the meantime or stream the video at the Borders website.
ETA: Still having conversion problems, but it’s been uploaded to the youtube. Stay tuned for the download.
According to TwiCon.org, Ashley has been confirmed as a guest at TwiCon, the “largest conference in the United States inspired by Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight saga.” Kellan Lutz will also be joining her and the previously announced Mike Welch.
Here’s a snippet from their press release:
Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, who will portray siblings Emmett and Alice Cullen in the much-anticipated “Twilight” movie due in theatres next month, have agreed to meet fans and appear at TwiCon – expected to be the largest of the fan conventions dedicated to the Stephenie Meyer books. The news was announced during a BlogTV broadcast by Twilight Vlog and YouTube personality Bailey (NoMoreMarbles) this evening from the Sheraton Dallas Hotel and Convention Center, the host site of TwiCon 2009.
NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) – “Twilight” star Ashley Greene, Haley Ramm and James LeGros are rolling into Anthony Burns’ 1980s-era coming-of-age drama “Skateland.”
Shiloh Fernandez is in final negotiations to play Ritchie Wheeler, a teen forced out of a job when his small-town roller rink shuts down. He faces tough decisions about his future, his parents’ divorce and complicated relationships with friends Brent (co-screenwriter Heath Freeman) and Kenny (Taylor Handley), his sister Mary (Ramm) and Brent’s sister Michelle (Greene). LeGros plays Brent and Michelle’s father.
The independently financed “Skateland” begins production this month in Louisiana. Fernandez next appears in “Cadillac Records.”
According to MTV, Jackson has been added to the list of panelists for Twilight Live. The event is in LA, on November 16th. Here’s what Larry had to say:
MTV News has confirmed with event organizer Becka Grapsy that actors Jackson Rathbone and Peter Facinelli are the latest names to be added to the list of panelists who will appear live and in the flesh. They join the previously-announced Mike Welch, as well as notable Twilighters from such beloved sites as TwilightSeriesTheories, His Golden Eyes, Twilight Moms and more.
The Los Angeles event is November 16th, just five days before the “Twilight” movie finally hits theaters nationwide. It will take place at Borders Westwood, beginning at 1:30 with a concert by the Twilight Music Girls.
Oh, you lucky LA fans! I, unfortunately, can’t go making a cross country trip a month before graduation. But if anyone does get a chance to go, remember to take a ton of pictures of our darling boy!
We’ll let you know if or when Ashley gets added to the list.

Also, thanks to Everglow, we have the clip that was shown at the Scream Awards. And there’s a brief, but awesome shot of Jasper and Alice!
Jackson’s new movie Dread has started filming. Here’s what Geeks of Doom had to say:
Filming has begun in the UK on Dread, the big-screen adaptation of the Clive Barker short story from his popular Books of Blood.
Directed by Anthony Diblasi, who also penned the screenplay, Dread stars Twilight’s Jackson Rathbone, along with Shaun Evans (Being Julia) and newcomers Hanne Steen and Laura Donnelly.
Dread is a psychological thriller centering on three college students who study other people’s fears. As the study progresses, one of the students begins to seek salvation from his obsession by exploiting the terrors of his fellow participants.
Barker serves as producer on the film, which will shoot for five weeks on location in London.
