This is a bit late (my apologies), and I’m sure you all already know, but with the great success of Twilight at the box office, Summit immediately turned on the green light for New Moon. Here is part of the official press release:

SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES TWILIGHT SEQUEL – NEW MOON

Los Angeles, CA November 22, 2008 — Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series titled, New Moon. The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings.

Who else is excited to see Jasper attack Bella? And Alice in Italy? New Moon is going to be amazing! :)

A few more photos from the photoshoot that Ashley did for Tyler Shields! Sadly, I could only get the small, tagged versions, but hopefully the regular ones will pop up soon; it’s such a pretty and sophisticated shoot.

A few updates tonight for you guys. First, POPTV put up a video a few days ago of Ashley and her co-star Kellan Lutz arriving for the GQ party. The two signed autographs for fans, being sweet as always. Go here to check it out!

Ashley attended another event with Kellan the other night for which we’ve added pictures of to the gallery.

Finally, TV Guide’s YouTube channel has a few videos featuring Jackson and Ashley. There’s too many to embed but there’s a good interview with all the Cullens and some behind the scenes to head over to the channel and check them out.

So, Twilight is FINALLY here!  I saw it last night at midnight, and besides the obvious wish for more J/A, I loved it!  Feel free to discuss your thoughts in our forum, or our LJ Comm below:

Also, here’s the design I made to wear on my shirt, representing all the J/A shippers out there!  Several people wanted to take a picture, which made me happy, because that means there were all kinds of shippers out last night!

Jackson and Ashley, along with some of their Twilight co-stars, appeared at the Hot Topic in Hollywood yesterday, as part of the Twilight Hot Topic Tour.

With much thanks to JR Online and AG Online, who both continue to be made of awesome, we’ve added 50+ images to the gallery.

Some things of note:

- Ashley is a smart girl and brought two pairs of shoes — heels for the portraits and sandals for the panel.

- Jackson continues to have no fashion sense.  I read somewhere that he’s colorblind and that’s why he never matches, but that’s no excuse for wearing stripes with flannel.

- Taylor is already looking buffer than Kellan in some of these shots.  He just might pull this off after all.

First, I somehow messed up the other layout, so in the meantime please bare with this old one for now.

After spending many hours waiting out in Westwood, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jackson at Twilight Live today. I mentioned the site to him and he genuinely expressed his gratitude for the support. A big thank you to Jackson for making my day today. I have a few pics and videos from the event, but because I might see him again, I will upload them once the Twilight craziness from this week dies down a bit.
