I am devastated to report that Ashley will not be attending EyeCon this weekend.  They’re letting you get refunds on autographs and pictures, but not on general admission.  I guess filming for Eclipse got pushed back like a month.

As for the Scrapbook Project, I guess it will just be ongoing, and I’ll just give it to her at the next covnention she does.  I don’t want to mail it to her, because there’s no guarantee that she’ll even see it.

As you can imagine, I am very upset, especally as it’s so last minute.  They’re trying to get replacement guests (Peter and Alex had to opt out, too), so my only thin ray of hope is that they can somehow get Jackson.  But, if we’re right, and they’re filming more flashbacks, he’s probably busy, too.

At the sight of Jackson Rathbone walking and cell talking. Jaunty hat, well worn jeans, short but well proportioned.

Twi-Hards having been flocking to Vancouver, especially as Jackson’s scheduled to play another show with his band soon, eager to get a piece of his quiver, but also for a glimpse of the rest of the cast in the hopes that Kristen Stewart will straddle Robert Pattinson and ride him honky tonk styles. On camera.

As for what they’ve been working on this week:

“Bella” goes to see “Jacob” at his place. In the bedroom or something. But she spends the whole time talking about how much she loves “Edward”. Way to kill a wolf erection.

Thanks to Lainey, via JR.org!  I love that she adores Jackson as much as we do!

It doesn’t exactly suck to be a vampire these days. Not when you’re Jackson Rathbone, you’re only 24 and you’re already famous for your role as a charismatic neck-biter in the most talked-about teen movie franchise on the planet.

And not when, at least away from the set of those three much-hyped Twilight films you’ve starred in, you get to be in a band. A rock-and-roll band. But first, the interview with the vampire.

Rathbone is Singapore-born and has acting roots in musical theatre in Texas and a Michigan arts academy. He started acting professionally at 17, moving into the TV and movie industry in Hollywood when he was 18.

On television, his roles have included turns on The O.C. and Criminal Minds, and he recently completed filming M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender.

But it’s as 166-year-old vampire Jasper Hale in the first three Twilight movies — Twilight, released in 2008, the Vancouver-shot New Moon, due for release Nov. 20, and Eclipse, currently shooting in Vancouver — where Rathbone has earned his celebrity status and heartthrob cred.

Enjoying a relaxing evening out on the town to kick off the weekend, the stars of “Eclipse” were spotted grabbing a bite to eat in Vancouver on Friday (August 28).

With Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene leading the way, the duo joined Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz at La Bodega Restaurante & Tapa Bar in the city’s Gastown neighborhood.

With 13 weeks until “New Moon” hits theaters, Jackson Rathbone has plenty to keep him busy. Beyond work on “Eclipse” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” Jackson is starring in and producing the 2010 film “Girlfriend.” Hollywood Crush was lucky enough to speak with Shannon Woodward, who was just cast as the film’s titular girlfriend. Shannon will be playing Candy, the former high school sweetheart of Jackson’s character.

Lainey has a pretty funny piece about Jackson returning to Vancouver, on the same flight as Paris Hilton.

As I reported a few weeks ago, Ebola Paris Hilton is guest starring on Supernatural. Not sure why the show felt the need to expose its cast and crew to that disease but here it is, arriving in Vancouver yesterday to begin work. Ebola is apparently playing a shapeshifter who shapeshifts into “Paris Hilton” and tries to kill everyone.

It came in on the same flight as Jackson Rathbone. Kellan Lutz flew in around the same time but they were not on the same plane. While Ebola distracted most of the paps, Jackson was able to leave the airport relatively undisturbed. Am hoping he was able to avoid it in the air. It may not have known who he is. And this is good. Because it is targeting Twilight, and Ebola will stop at nothing.

Can Mag has an interview with Ashley, where she discusses “New Moon” and a little about “Eclipse”.  The article’s not written that well, but I’m pretty sure she’s talking about Jackson in the first paragraph, even though it doesn’t specify that.  What do you guys think??

Ashley Greene Returns for “New Moon”

“Because since we know each other so well, it is kind of a no-brainer,” she said. “We already have this kind of chemistry, so it wasn’t hard at all. I was kind of wondering about that, but we are such close friends and we definitely had a platonic relationship, so going and playing romantic, I was wondering if it was going to be harder or easier, but because we are already so comfortable with each other, it was actually less awkward than with someone I didn’t know.”

Orlando Bloom did it a few years ago with “Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Samuel L. Jackson sort of had it going on with the “Star Wars” and “xXx” films. And Ian McKellen might have been the king, as he balanced the “LOTR” and “X-Men” movies for years… in his 60s! Now, could Jackson Rathbone be the next actor to pull off the rare simultaneous-double-franchise trick?

“Aw, man I got to do a lot of fight scenes in ‘Airbender’,” the affable “Twilight” star explained to us when we asked about his recently-wrapped upcoming blockbuster based on the “Avatar: The Last Airbender” TV cartoon show. “It was fun for me, because I grew up a little bit in Texas, and did a little Texas football. So, that little contact is good every once in a while; it kind of lets the aggression out.”
