People: Twilight Star Ashley Greene’s Puppy Love

There’s a new love in Ashley Greene’s life, and much like her Twilight costars, it has fur and fangs (albeit tiny ones).

“She was meant to be mine,” gushed the 22-year-old actress, who plays the pixie-like vampire Alice Cullen in the popular series, of her new puppy, Marlow. “I wasn’t looking for a dog, and I happened to see her picture online, and I was like, ‘I have to have that dog.’ ”

Showing off her cute new hair do, Ashley Greene models some clothes at Shop Kitson in West Hollywood on Thursday afternoon (April 30).

The 22-year-old Twilight actress held onto her adorable little dog while she promoted the DonateMyDress.org charity. The organization is the first national campaign designed to encourage girls around the country to donate their prom and special occasion dresses to those who cannot afford to finance the costly experience of going to their prom.

Ashley’s BFF Kellan Lutz also showed up to support the charity.

Yes, there’s *another* convention!  This one will be in Atlanta from July 10-12.  Since I have enough time to save, I’ll most likely be attending this one, as well.  Other guests so far: Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, and Billy Burke.

As I mentioned before, Jackson is going to be in Orlando in two weeks, and I have officially decided to go see him!  I plan on getting his and Kellan’s autographs, but I unfortunately can’t afford to get the professional photograph with Jackson.  I’ll also only be attending Saturday, so I won’t be attending his Q&A session, either.  BUT, I’m looking at the bright side, and at least I get to meet him!

I’m letting you guys know because I’d be more than willing to deliver any messages or anything you want Jackson to have.    Just leave a comment here, or email me, and I’ll print them out and give them to him when I see him.  I’d also like to get an autograph for the site, so if that’s something you guys would like to see, let me know if anyone would be willing to chip in for the $25 it’s going to cost.

I will also be designing an I Felt Hope t-shirt to wear, so that he knows I represent the site.  I’m very excited, and I still may decide to attend on Sunday, as well.  It depends on how much money I make at work in the next week or so.

Ashley has done an interview with the Herald Sun, where she admits that her and Jackson would pretty much be dating if it weren’t for their insane schedules.  Can anyone say “Squee”?

Greene’s role in the film may also have found her love — with her on-screen husband, of all people.

The chemistry between Greene and on-screen partner Jasper Hale (played by best-friend Jackson Rathbone) has lead to rumours the two are dating.

Though Greene is adamant they are not, she admits the only thing keeping them apart is their hectic schedules.

“He and I both don’t have time to date, but we do have amazing chemistry,” she says.

“We both have such big crushes on each other and it clearly shows. We got along instantly and the day we met, he was teaching me how to swing dance.

“He (Rathbone) does everything. He sings, he dances, and he’s so sweet. Even my mum has a crush on him and tells me, ‘You should date him’. So, who knows, maybe when we both stop running around the world.”

EyeCon Twilight  has updated their site with some new guests, and one of them is Jackson!  He’ll be in Orlando, Florida from May 8-10.  He’ll be doing a Q&A, an autograph session, and a photograph session.  100 Monkeys will also be performing, and I assume that he’ll be attending some of the different events they have going on, as well.

I actually live in Orlando, so I obviously really want to go.  But, the cost is a bit steep, so I’ll keep you updated.  The rent comes first, after all!

If anyone else thinks they can go, let us know, because we’d love to have an IFH liason!

The cast and crew of the M. Night Shyamalan flick The Last Airbender are due back anon from Greenland, where temps were 4 below zero during shooting of icy landscapes. During their downtime, the Airbenders screened Raiders of the Lost Ark in an auditorium – it was Airbender producer Frank Marshall’s first producing credit – and actor Jackson Rathbone played a set on guitar at a local pub. Shooting resumes on a Philly soundstage tomorrow.

Twilight Lexicon:

Jackson Rathbone and the cast of M. Knight Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender have thawed out from their two week filming stint in Greenland. They are now back in Pennsylvania where they will be filming in the Reading area (notably the pagoda near Mount Penn) before returning to Philly where Shyamalan prefers to shoot many of his films.

According to town officials:

“They needed buildings to shoot all the interiors,” Shupp said. “They were looking for a group of buildings with high ceilings and specific column spacing. We showed them a number of buildings, but we couldn’t come up with enough to meet their requirements. So the interiors will be shot in Philadelphia (where Shyamalan is based).”

Jackson will be hopping between the New Moon and Last Airbender sets as he is needed for filming. If you need your Jackson fix, look for Jackson on April 8th on criminal Minds on CBS.
