As you’ll soon see, our events are more like festivals than conventions. With that said, this is an event created to inspire creativity and awareness of the arts in all forms. Come with an open mind and bring your imagination!

Everyone is part of our community and we want all of you to feel welcomed. Our goal is for everyone to have a good time and not worry about whether or not you can bring your camera or if you’re allowed to say hi to a cast member. Of course you can!

We gear our daily events around things that are fun for the guests and the cast, which include art and poetry contests as well as musical acts. Winners from these contests get a private meet & greet with attending cast and band members. In addition, the winning poet will also have their work read LIVE at Saturday’s ball by an attending cast member.

Jackson Rathbone’s band, 100 Monkeys, will soon be tweeting about their ‘design your own t-shirt’ contest. The winning shirt will actually get printed as a limited edition item and sold on their website. All of the money from the sale of the winning t-shirt will be donated to the Spencer Bell Legacy project. Which brings up a good point. I am devastated to report that Ashley will not be attending EyeCon this weekend.  They’re letting you get refunds on autographs and pictures, but not on general admission.  I guess filming for Eclipse got pushed back like a month.

As for the Scrapbook Project, I guess it will just be ongoing, and I’ll just give it to her at the next covnention she does.  I don’t want to mail it to her, because there’s no guarantee that she’ll even see it.

As you can imagine, I am very upset, especally as it’s so last minute.  They’re trying to get replacement guests (Peter and Alex had to opt out, too), so my only thin ray of hope is that they can somehow get Jackson.  But, if we’re right, and they’re filming more flashbacks, he’s probably busy, too.

Ashley Greene Scrapbook Project

O.M.J.  Ashley will be in Orlando the weekend of September 25-27, and I will definitely be there!  It’s the first stop on a new Fantasy Twilight Tour.  See the other stops here.

Summit is also partnering with Creation Entertainment to do an official Twilight Tour, as well.  There’s one in Miami and Atlanta in early 2010, so depending on who is going, I may be attending those, as well.

Soooo, I sort of want to make Ashley a scrapbook or something.  Technically, I already sent her and Jackson one way back when I did that whole support campaign, but I’d like to giver her something in person.  If you’d be interested in contributing, leave a comment here, so I can determine if it’s necessary to start up a little website for it or something.  Also, if you have any thoughts on anything else we could give her (like jewelry or something), let me know!

The schedule for Comic-Con has been released and you can expect the New Moon panel on Thursday, July 23!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon—Summit Entertainment is proud to present the panel for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the highly anticipated sequel to last year’s box office smash Twilight. Surprise members of the cast will answer your questions about the second film in the series and debut never-before-seen footage from the new film.

Nothing yet on the panel guests, but hopefully Jackson or Ashley (or both!!!) are in attendance. I’ll be attending the event so I will return with any pictures, videos, details…all of that! :)

As you guys know, I went to Eye Con yesterday to see Jackson!  He was lovely, though the overall experience was disappointing.  I did give him all of your messages and letters, which he loved!  And I even got a hug out of him!  I’ll tell you more about it later, but for now, here are some pictures!

Yes, there’s *another* convention!  This one will be in Atlanta from July 10-12.  Since I have enough time to save, I’ll most likely be attending this one, as well.  Other guests so far: Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, and Billy Burke.
